“Over the past couple of years, I have struggled with trying to lose weight. I tried all the crazy fad diets, all the work out at home for 30 minutes a day types of exercise programs, and nothing seemed to be helping, I kept seeing my weight increase. That was until last September, I learned that I have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and then it all started to make sense. All the symptoms that I was having like excessive weight gain and fatigue were all related to this syndrome. I had two choices, to sit and do nothing and just keep gaining more weight, or get up and do something about it. I made the choice to get up and do something about it. That’s when I found Bodies of Empowerment. Almost immediately after I filled out my contact information on their website, Nate called me to come in for my consultation. I was really nervous for my first visit because I didn’t know what to expect, I was nervous that I would feel judged and uncomfortable, but in fact, it was the complete opposite of that. Nate made me feel 100% comfortable and welcomed. Bodies of Empowerment isn’t like your typical gym with personal trainers. They really care about their client’s health and well-being, and they take the extra step to help you reach your goals. Signing up to train at BOE was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has changed my life for the better, and I couldn’t be more thankful for Nate, and my trainer Steve. Steve is absolutely wonderful to work with, he takes the extra time to help you understand each and every workout. His knowledge and understanding about fitness and nutrition are top notch! After only six weeks of hard work, dedication, the guidance of the BOE program, and my trainer, I have lost a total of 16lbs! I feel a lot happier, healthier, and confident.
